Summary: PLATINUM WB1250+ is a lightweight, next-generation high-temperature welding blanket fabric with a proprietary coating, rated to 1200°C continuous and 1600°C short-duration exposure.

PLATINUM WB1250+ is a 'next generation' high-temperature fabric with a high-tech proprietary coating that provides superior performance and safety/ergonomics. This allows the fabric to be lightweight, whilst offering protection and durability superior to other, much thicker & heavier fabrics. It provides a max working temperature exposure of 1200°C and up to 1600°C short-duration exposure.

Unlike most other high-temperature welding blankets, PLATINUM WB1250+ is completely non-irritant, does not shed dust or raw fibres, and is very safe and comfortable to handle. It resists fraying and can be easily cut to any required length or shape.

Applications

• Protection against sparks, spatter, light molten metal splash, and intermittent flame
• Suitable for protecting objects during grinding, welding, oxy cutting, gouging, etc
• Not recommended for heat treatment / stress relieving; higher-density fabrics such as PROMAX WB550, WB1000, or WB1100 are recommended for that application
• Withstands intermittent short-duration flame exposure; not recommended for prolonged/constant direct flame exposure
