Shipping Methods

Industrial Source uses a range of transport companies including FedEx, UPS, DHL, local couriers and Australia Post for delivery of USA sourced orders within Australia. Bulky freight may be shipped by sea.

We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes, Aus Post Parcel Collect Addresses or Parcel Lockers.

USA sourced orders are delivered under DDP Incoterms. The price quoted or shown on our website is the total price you pay.

Freight is calculated at checkout based on total weight and delivery zone. Orders under 10 kg are held until consolidation is achieved. Standard freight applies once the consolidated weight reaches 10 kg.

Orders over 40 kg or bulky items may trigger a “Freight Quote Required” message at checkout — our team will contact you.

Despatch Times

US-sourced (Grainger) products: Orders are consolidated and shipped once the total weight reaches 10 kg. Standard despatch time: 5–15 business days from order placement.

Australian-stocked items: Orders are usually despatched within 5  business days.

During peak times such as public holidays or Christmas, despatch times may be delayed.

Customers must provide an address where someone is available between 9am to 5pm on weekdays to receive and sign for the parcel. Business addresses are preferred. Collection from a courier depot or post office may be necessary otherwise.

Occasionally, products may be drop shipped directly from our suppliers.

Delivery Times

Delivery timeframes are based on lead times shown on the website. These are estimates and not guaranteed. We work with reliable couriers to ensure timely delivery, but delays may occur due to weather, courier operations, or unforeseen issues.

Insurance

Insurance is automatically included on all purchases. If your shipment is lost in transit, we will offer a replacement at no charge or a full refund.

Any damaged or missing items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Claims outside this window are not eligible for insurance coverage.

Oversized Items

Items exceeding 40 kg or 125 cm in length, or marked as irregular or bulky, are considered oversized. These items are not available for online purchase and require a custom shipping quote. Please contact sales@industrialsource.com.au for a quote.

Shipping quotes for commercial quantities and oversized items assume delivery to a commercial address with a forklift onsite. Extra charges may apply for deliveries requiring tailgate trucks or special handling.

Shipping Methods

We use reputable couriers for all domestic deliveries. We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes, Parcel Collect Addresses, or Parcel Lockers.

Free and Flat Rate Shipping

Orders over $200 excluding GST qualify for free delivery to metropolitan Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Canberra, Perth and Sydney, unless the goods are bulky, heavy or classified as dangerous.

Orders under $200 to these areas are charged a flat freight rate of $20 excluding GST. Orders outside metropolitan areas may incur additional charges.

Oversized Items

Items exceeding 40 kg or 125 cm in length, or those marked as bulky or irregular, require a custom quote. Oversized orders to non-metro locations also require a custom quote. Contact sales@industrialsource.com.au for assistance.

Shipping Lead Times

We strive to process and ship orders promptly. Delivery times may vary based on product availability, courier capacity, and seasonal demand.

If an item is on back order, we will notify you with an estimated timeframe.

Despatch and Delivery

You will receive an email notification when your order is despatched. Shipping may take longer during peak periods.

Products may be drop shipped directly from suppliers when required.

Where tracking is available, we will provide tracking details for your convenience.

• Metropolitan areas: Delivery within 3 to 5 business days
• Regional areas: Delivery times may vary and can take up to 10 business days

Some products are classified as dangerous goods (such as paint or lubricants) and cannot be shipped by air. These will be delivered via road freight.

Shipping quotes for commercial quantities and oversized products are based on delivery to a commercial address with forklift unloading. Additional charges apply where this is not possible or where special delivery services are required.
